This year, one day in particular turned into an unexpected yet unforgettable memory with the Brisk Esports team. Let me walk you through how June 12, 2025, a national holiday in the Philippines, became a day of bonding, laughter, food, and even a little mishap that didn’t ruin the mood, in fact, it added to the story.

A Sudden Decision That Finally Happened

If there’s one thing we’ve all learned the hard way, it’s that when we plan something way ahead, it rarely pushes through. Life gets busy, and schedules just don’t match. That’s why, on the afternoon of June 11, we made a spontaneous decision:
“Let’s do the team building tomorrow.”

We had a golden reason to celebrate, too. PJ, our Gold Laner, was celebrating his birthday! What better way to enjoy the holiday and strengthen the bond of the team than by taking a break together? No big pressure, just a simple get-together.

The Road to MBR Resort: A Little Bump in the Ride

On the morning of June 12, excitement was in the air. We packed up and headed to MBR Resort, a perfect venue for a fun yet chill day. The team and I hopped on a multicab while my husband followed behind, driving his motorcycle.

Then came the twist.

Just as we were cruising along, my husband was flagged down by a traffic enforcer. Why? Expired motorcycle registration. We were under the impression that it would expire next year, but surprise, it had already lapsed. So yes, he was issued a ticket.

Was it inconvenient? Yes.
Did it ruin the mood? Not at all.

It was actually one of those moments where we just laughed it off. A reminder that even the best days come with hiccups, and that's what makes the memories richer.

Food, Laughter, and Games Galore

Once we got to the resort, everything fell into place. The warm sun, the relaxing pool view, and the excited energy of the team set the tone for the day.
